To get to the capital of Bavaria from the main city of the Czech Republic on your own, you can use both ground and air transport. There is a railway connection between these cities. There are several direct trains daily in the direction, but most of the options involve a connection in Nuremberg.
Several major bus carriers operate between Prague and Munich. In less than an hour, you can be in the Bavarian capital if you fly from Prague by plane. The journey by car will take 4-5 hours.
Upon arrival in Munich, you can buy a land ticket, which will allow you to save on travel on your further travel to Bavaria.

The station building is located right in the city center. You can get to it by different types of transport:
- by metro: st. Hlavní nádraží, line C;

- via A92,

To overcome such a path, it should take about 4 hours. Fuel consumption is conventionally calculated at 8-10 liters per 100 km; if you count to the maximum, you get about 40 liters of gasoline in one direction, plus more fuel for city trips.
Gasoline prices in Europe range from 1.45 to 1.6 euros per liter. Diesel fuel is a little cheaper, but it should be borne in mind that in 2021, amendments came into force in Germany, which indicate the environmental zones in which this type of fuel cannot be used.
To travel by car or a rented car, a Russian tourist should prepare. First of all, you must have a valid driver's license and a foreign passport with a Schengen visa.
If you want to use a rented car, you need to have a credit card with you to freeze the security deposit on it, or cash, which will be returned if you return the car safe and sound.
Note that landlords take care of the sticker for driving through the ecological zone on their own, if necessary.

During the day, there are many flights of this carrier, which fly in a given direction with transfers, only this way will be longer and more expensive. Flights depart from Prague Ruzyne Airport. From the city center, from the metro station "Florence", there is a direct bus to the airport - "Megabus".
Metro lines or train lines do not connect the air station with the city, so Megabus is the best way to get to Ruzyne airport; the road will take about 25 minutes.
In Munich, the plane lands at the Franz Josef Strauss International Airport.
The easiest way to get to the train station or to the city center is to take the train. Two types of electric trains will take you to the desired direction: S1 and S8. Both trains go to the center, both make stops at the main train station, Marienplatz and Karlsplatz. You can buy a ticket in a special machine on the German Railways.
Another option for getting to the center of Munich is to book a transfer. The trip will cost you approximately 60 euros.
