Architectural features
The unique building was erected using the latest technologies with the participation of the famous architect - Delugan Meisel.
Innovative engineering technologies made it possible to "hang" an unusual building weighing 35 thousand tons in the air.
The heavy-duty materials of the pillars support the hall, which weighs as much as the Eiffel Tower. In addition, the structure rotates. The overall concept of the building is designed in black and white.
Each of the cars shown on the displays can be taken to the street using an elevator.
Exposure
The Porsche Museum is a unique collection of Porsche cars that tells the story of the development of the famous car manufacturer. The exhibition hall is located directly on the territory of the plant. The expositions of the legendary car series are regularly updated. The hall displays exhibits of the XX century and cars of the 356, 550, 911 and 917 series.
Visitors can choose from two museum routes:
- history of the brand's development (cars are arranged in chronological order);
- museum exhibits grouped according to specific topics.
The Porsche Idea connects both routes - a central display that illustrates the uniqueness of Porsche's technical solutions.
Audio guides have been created especially for the Porsche showroom and can be rented at the checkout. They are available in different languages, including Russian.
In the lobby of the building, visitors can see the working workshop of the museum, where maintenance is carried out not only for more than 400 models from the "Moving Museum", but also for "ordinary" cars.
