Spain is one of the most footballing countries in the world. This game is not only very popular here, but also enables highly qualified professionals to earn more show business stars.

The profession of a football player is one of the most prestigious in Spain, so the number of children who want to seriously engage in this sport is growing every day.

For those wishing to become football players and in the future to try their hand at one of the clubs, there are specialized football academies in Spain.

The most famous and prestigious of them, regularly releasing bright stars from their walls, are:

  • La Masia (Barcelona Club);
  • La Fabrika (Real Madrid);
  • Cerro del Espino (Atletico Club).

Here, as in many other top-level academies, pupils not only study football in Spain, but also study according to the program of a secondary educational school, living in a boarding school on a full board basis.

The cost of the program, which lasts from September to June, if you do not take into account the three aforementioned giants of Spanish football, varies between 1-3 thousand euros per month.

Tennis academies in Spain

In addition to football, tennis is one of the most popular sports that are included in the physical education program of most private Spanish schools. For many Spaniards, the first racket of the world, Rafael Nadal, seems to be no less an idol than Iker Casillas.

Nadal himself has his own tennis academy in Spain - namely in Mallorca, for which he personally developed an educational program.

At the same time, training is conducted in a secondary boarding school according to the American version and in English. Taking into account all training, school activities, meals, extracurricular and extracurricular activities, as well as entertainment, the cost of staying at the Rafa Nadal Academy can reach 60 thousand euros for a season lasting 10 months.

An alternative is another prestigious tennis academy in Spain, founded in 1986 by the famous tennis player of the past Luis Brugera (captain of the Davis Cup national team).

She also has her own comprehensive school and operates throughout the year, except for the Christmas holidays. The cost of education consists of several components to choose from: for example, living in a boarding school costs 3 thousand per month, and studying in a high school according to the American system - about 900 euros per month.

Football camps in Spain

For children who go to amateur schools and would like to try their hand at a higher level during the summer holidays (and sometimes during the Holy Week), many clubs organize football camps in Spain.

Such camps have several goals at once:

  • improve the skill level of professionals;
  • conduct trainings under the guidance of renowned specialists;
  • organize tournaments between foreign guests and their peers from the leading Spanish teams;
  • promote the rapprochement of children of different nationalities by participating in cultural and entertainment programs.

As a rule, the duration of summer programs is determined by the children themselves and their parents, and it ranges from one to five weeks. The price, depending on the camp, the presence / absence of the possibility of living in it and the content of the program - from 100 euros per training to almost 6 thousand for five weeks with English courses as an intellectual supplement.

Tennis camps in Spain

Summer tennis lessons for young athletes are organized so that they do not lose their shape or, on the contrary, can get to know this dynamic sport better. Tennis camps in Spain are no less common than football camps, although there are certain differences between them.

In most cases, the stay in them is longer, and the price is higher: for example, seven weeks at the Bruguera Tennis Academy will cost 10 150 euros. This amount includes not only training, but also other sports, in particular surfing.

In addition to tennis itself, the compulsory program includes: a visit to the gym, the services of a nutritionist who selects the correct diet, as well as a physiotherapist. In all cases, a prerequisite is the availability of medical insurance, although a summer camp in tennis or football is primarily entertainment and good mood, and not training for wear.

As you can see, Spain offers a wide range of sports education opportunities for children and adults. And the Study Barcelona specialists are always happy to find the most suitable sports academy or program for you, help with paperwork and enrollment, the selection of housing and other issues.
