The city administration announces the continuation of preparations for the beach season, which is scheduled to open on June 1. Hotels, resorts and boarding houses have been closed to accommodate tourists from March 28 due to the threat of the spread of a pandemic. Room reservations are prohibited until June 1st. Since March 31, quarantine has been introduced on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory with a complete ban on the movement of pedestrians and vehicles. On April 12, the Kuban authorities changed the quarantine to self-isolation.
“The restrictive regime has made amendments to the interaction with travel services and outsourcing companies. Today, local leaders are organizing the activities of enterprises in such a way that, after the lifting of the restrictive measures taken in connection with the threat of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, they can quickly enter the usual rhythm of work, ”the administration official said.
According to the deputy head of the department of resorts and tourism of the city administration Sergei Domorat, the improvement of the city and the territories of Sochi continues in full swing. Large facilities of the industry are preparing territories and rooms to accommodate vacationers. 190 beaches, of which 82 belong to the municipality, are ready to receive numerous tourists in the summer.
Contracts are concluded for the installation of video equipment and emergency buttons on the beaches. New rescue posts, provided with the necessary equipment, are being created, canopies and sun loungers are being painted and repaired, new sun loungers are being installed.
