Economic situation

The Romanian economy is stable with little growth. Unemployment has been at the level of 5,8%, inflation is practically absent. The Romanian currency is called the leu, and the average salary in the state is L3320 (725 €). Minimum rate since 2019 - 2000 lei (about 440 €).

Immigrants from the CIS are treated calmly, specialists who are ready to work here are only welcomed. Competition in the labor market is soft (since most specialists leave for other European countries).

Taxation is not subject to:

  • compensation for insurance corporations;
  • payments for delegation;
  • maternity payments;
  • profit from stock option;
  • profit from the creation of an application or computer program;
  • inheritance;
  • sponsorship, charitable donations;
  • profit from the sale of property;
  • food stamps.
