The YES Group company, at the request of Kommersant, conducted a survey and it turned out that two-thirds of the citizens of the Russian Federation in the next six months are going to refrain from tours abroad.

As Kommersant found out, only 38% of respondents plan to vacation abroad in 2021, 41% are not ready to go abroad. 48% of the respondents decided to limit themselves to traveling in Russia, and 28% gave up their vacation altogether.

65% of users believe that at the end of August they will be allowed to travel across the Russian Federation. 79% believe that travel abroad will be allowed at the end of 2021 or after the spring of 2021. 21% of Muscovites plan to travel abroad.

According to data provided by Aviasales, flights to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus and Moldova are still in high demand. However, these trips are not for travel purposes.

According to statistics from tour operators, most foreign flights are booked for the second half of the summer. In the event that the trip for some reason does not take place, it can be postponed to another date. It is noted that after the resumed international flights, tourists faced a number of problems: incomplete opening of borders, falling income and an increase in the exchange rate. Also, people are afraid of getting infected while traveling.

Dmitry Gorin, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, named the condition for the resumption of trips from the Russian Federation abroad. He believes that this will happen at the end of the summer, after the borders are open, international communication will resume and the embassies will begin to work.
