In the Czech Republic, it was reported about the rise in the cost of tickets for flights in the fall. This was stated by the deputy head of the Association of Tour Operators of the country - Jan Papezh. The specialist says that so far the airlines do not intentionally raise prices, despite the new rules established for observing the distance on the sides of airliners. But since the end of the summer, many will have to raise the cost to the level of the pre-crisis and higher in order not to become unprofitable.
Papezh also noted that the rules for visiting restaurants, cafes and beaches will change. In particular, the minimum distance between the tables should be from 1.5 m, the distance between the swimmers and sun loungers on the coast is set. Hotels under the new rules will abandon coffee machines and buffets, the number of visitors to spas and fitness centers is also limited.
The specialist suggested that all tourist establishments would raise prices, as did tour operators and advised to buy a delicacy in a restaurant at half price without waiting for autumn. After all, the additional costs that will be spent on business due to downtime as a result of COVID19 will be partially passed on to tourists.
