Reviews

Sergei:“I traveled around the country with my family in my car for more than a month. Visas were issued in Kyzyl, we are from the Krasnoyarsk Territory. We handed over the papers the first time, a week later they arrived and took them away. We were immediately warned that you can only cross the border from 10 am to 6 pm. The rest of the time, no one is allowed through. You can take gasoline with you, but not more than 20 liters. Thanks to the specialist for the warning, as the border guards were inspecting the car ”.

Bogdan:“In December 2016, I received a single-entry visa to Mongolia. They asked for the following set of documents: a questionnaire (filled out in Russian right on the spot), 35 x 45 photos on a blue background, a certificate from my work, copies of the first pages of both passports. I paid a fee of $ 50 at the consulate building. The invitation was not asked. After 10 days, he himself came for a passport. The visa corridor was 3 months. "

In recent years, the number of tourists and entrepreneurs wishing to visit the republic has been increasing. Since 2014, Mongolia has simplified visa requirements, including for Russians. Visa-free entry for citizens of other countries (Belarus, Ukraine) is allowed for up to 90 days. The passport processing process is simple, and the number of refusals is minimal. A flexible system of consular fees makes it possible to reduce the waiting time for a passport to 1 day.
