What services does the bank offer

ING Bank in Poland provides a wide range of financial services to individuals and legal entities. The most convenient and effective for both categories of clients is the ING Online system, which improves the interaction between the bank and end users. Using online banking, ING Online customers receive comfort, mobility, and flexible control over financial transactions.

Legal entities

The advantage of ING Online for legal entities is the receipt of up-to-date information on their accounts, the balance on them, on the movement of finance for an arbitrary period of time. Another advantage is easy integration of customer data by importing files. Thus, the accumulated information (account statements, payment orders, information on the payment of salaries, accounting of working hours) is easily drawn into circulation. For legal entities, other functions of the proposed system are also of interest, such as online exchange rates, the latest information on loans, deposits, etc.

The following demanded services are provided to legal entities:

  • electronic commerce, including online payments,
  • loans on favorable terms,
  • leasing,
  • insurance,
  • work with currency options and securities,
  • Internet banking,
  • consultations on the entire spectrum of financial issues.

For individuals

ING Bank provides the following types of services to individuals:

  • opening current accounts,
  • online banking,
  • issuance of debit and credit cards,
  • registration of mortgages and credit loans,
  • deposits,
  • client capital management.

Account opening methods

Opening an account with ING Bank is straightforward. This is a standard procedure, similar to similar services in other banks, however, highlight the specific points inherent in this institution.

For legal entities

A legal entity, its representative office or a trustee to open an account provide the following securities:

  1. constituent documents;
  2. information about the structure of the company;
  3. information on the issue of shares;
  4. confirmed address of the legal entity;
  5. a certified copy of the annual report;
  6. if necessary - licenses.

Additionally, the authorized person presents a passport, power of attorney, receipts for payment for utility services for the last three months. Copies of documents must be notarized.

For individuals

To open an account, individuals in each case will have to visit a bank branch. Foreign citizens are required to provide:

  1. international passport;
  2. the document on the basis of which the individual resides in Poland;
  3. proof of residence.

After opening an account, an individual receives a bank card, its PIN-code, a password for accessing a personal account via the Internet, and other information if necessary.

Account verification methods

When you open an account for the first time, the whole procedure is carried out in a bank branch and therefore the reliability of this method is maximum. When receiving a card by mail, courier service or via the Internet, it is recommended to check the account for possible errors by transferring a small amount (PLN 1) from a trusted source.

In addition to visiting a bank branch in person, Internet technologies provide the greatest security. To keep it at a high level at all times, follow the recommended password requirements and frequency of changing it. Security questions and answers should not be neglected, and it is advisable to use a digital certificate. It is important to remember that the bank clerk will not ask you for your password.

How to withdraw money

It is possible to withdraw money from the ING Bank card in almost any country. The cost of the operation is essential. The amount of costs is determined by the banks involved in the transaction and the conditions of the open account.

It should be remembered that an individual receives money in national currency.

It is possible to withdraw money in foreign currency from the card only at the cash desks of some banks, possibly with additional costs. Cards of common payment systems, such as Visa, Mastercard, make this operation much easier and more profitable.

Representative offices of Ing Bank operate in many countries, but it is best to consult on specific countries when opening an account. It is more profitable to cash out outside Poland with larger amounts and fewer times.

The cost of opening and maintaining a bank account

For ING Bank clients, there is no charge for the following transactions:

    • servicing accounts (including foreign currency);
    • issuance and monthly maintenance of a bank card (if the costs from it have exceeded 200 zlotys);
    • foreign transfers made using Internet technologies;
    • dispensing money at an ATM in Poland;
  • replenishment of the card in payment terminals.

If the monthly costs from the bank card do not exceed 200 PLN, then a fee (7 PLN) will be charged for servicing the card. Also, the paid services in the amount of PLN 9 include transfers made in bank branches.

How to close an account

A common reason for account closures is the high cost of banking services, as banks are increasingly raising fees for it. If you need to leave Poland for several months and there is no need for an account, then you should close it in order to avoid paying for unclaimed services.

In this case, the application must be submitted 30 calendar days in advance. Today, there are four ways to notify the bank:

  • personally arrive at the bank branch;
  • sending the document by registered mail;
  • by telephone (remember the access codes);
  • via the Internet, in your personal account.

If the payment involves only the maintenance of the card, and the account is free, then it is worth closing only it. Confirmation of the closure of the account is the transfer of the remaining money to the details you specified.

ING Bank blurs the boundaries

Clients of ING Bank, regardless of their location (Ukraine, Poland or Russia), receive a single set of financial services. By contacting the bank's subsidiaries in these countries, customers will receive high quality services.
