In Denmark, as in many other countries, public places have been closed due to the spread of coronavirus infection. A lot of people always accumulate in them, so such decisions were made among the first. But the world situation is gradually improving.

Already on May 11, shops and shopping centers resumed their activities in Denmark. However, visitors will be required to maintain a social distance (1.5-2 m) for preventive purposes. According to the Copenhagen Post, this information came from Mette Frederiksen, the country's prime minister.

Professional sporting events will start in Denmark on the same day. The entrance will be closed to viewers for the time being. Now everyone can go in for sports. Here, too, there are a number of restrictions: this cannot be done in a company, you must maintain a social distance. Contact sports are still not permitted as they are not safe in this regard.

Employees of firms can refuse to work remotely and return to offices. They also need to keep their distance.
You can gather in companies of no more than 10 people.

According to the Prime Minister, on May 18, Denmark will open catering establishments: cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs. They will operate part-time, and will also introduce restrictions on the number of visitors.

Students will be able to go to school if local governments set dates when classes resume.

  • The borders will be closed until at least June 1.
