The minister explained that this safety certification system will function in public places such as airports, vehicles, hotels and restaurants. For May, the planned precautions will be implemented. The list of objects will be announced in the first days of summer.
Mehmet Nuri Ersoy also reported that employees of the tourism sector are required to undergo intensive and regular training. They are checked by international companies. Tourists have the opportunity to get acquainted with detailed information about all the companies cooperating with them. To do this, you need to download a special application to your mobile phone and scan the QR code.
The interlocutor of the agency said that several centers have been created at major airports in the country where testing for COVID-19 is carried out. The procedure must be passed by those passengers who have not been tested for the last 3 days. For the rest, this is not necessary.
It was noted that the Turkish government has already provided all the necessary information on how the tourist security system works during a pandemic and what medical potential the country has. 70 states were informed, from which tourists arrive in Turkey.
Mehmet Nuri Ersoy also said with confidence that Turkey will be able to fully implement preventive measures. The country will provide visitors with appropriate hygienic conditions. The tourists will be provided with a safe rest.
