  • Highways. There are paid sections of the road in the country, for example, a trip along the Athens-Thessaloniki highway will cost 34 €. You can also go on the free road, but the path is twice as long.
  • Public transport. Taxi services in Athens from 3 to 15 €. In public transport, the price for one trip is 1 euro, you can buy a pass for 1 month for 35 euro.
  • The medicine. The level of medicine in the country is decent. The insurance covers the costs of basic specialists, excluding the dentist. In the case of placement in a clinic for treatment, the patient will be provided with everything necessary, including food, medicines, consumables.
  • Catering business. For dinner at a local restaurant, the bill will range from € 30-60. Alcoholic drinks in restaurants cost 7-13 euros (for one glass). Small bakeries and pizzerias are much more modest in terms of furnishings and pricing. Lunch with a glass of excellent local wine will cost around 10 euros per person.

Unemployment Rate and Prospects for Migrants

Unemployment in the country is being cut at an intense pace. The authorities are constantly looking for a way out of the situation, come to tangible results. The falling incomes hit all strata of the Greeks. But the economy has resisted, the process of revival has been launched.

The fact is that, according to Greek principles, it is impossible to get a worthy place and build a career if you enter production or the service sector with a specialist diploma. Therefore, the majority of qualified personnel remained on severance pay after being laid off.
