Therefore, in almost all cities - both large and small - there are vacancies, including for foreigners. Employers offer good conditions and decent wages. A job in Bialystok is a great option for those who are looking for not only permanent but also seasonal work.

What is interesting in Bialystok in terms of employment

Bialystok is a fairly large industrial center located in the northeastern part of the country. There are many businesses that constantly require workers.

Polish employers offer a huge number of vacancies with decent wages, and their list is regularly updated.

It can be a job not only for qualified specialists, but also for workers without education. In addition, many companies offer jobs for couples.

The advantage of these offers for foreign workers is that knowledge of the Polish language is not required for employment. Of course, if you are striving for career growth, then you will certainly have to learn the language, but this can be done by already working in Poland.

Job search in Bialystok

Working in Poland for Belarusians, Russians and Ukrainians is relevant for several reasons. The first is purely economic: here you can get a salary of the European level. The second is the language factor. It is much easier for people from East Slavic states to learn Polish than any of the European languages.

The third is the proximity of cultures, thanks to which it is much easier to adapt to new living conditions.

What documents will be needed for work

Official employment in Poland requires the applicant to have permits that allow him to legally work in any city in the country. However, in order to apply for a work visa, it is imperative to obtain an invitation from the employer.

There are three types of invitations.

  • First, a seasonal invitation. It is issued for employment in those sectors of the economy where seasonal work is allowed. For example, it is ideal for watch work. Having issued a work visa on the basis of such an invitation, you can officially work in Poland for up to 9 months a year.
  • Another document is an off-season invitation. The owner of such an invitation has the right to obtain a work visa and work six months a year in those industries that do not provide for seasonal work.
  • A work visa by a voivodship invitation implies the possibility of employment for a period of one year.

In addition, you can get a job with a Pole Card or on a business visa, but for this you must fulfill a number of conditions, and besides, these documents are not suitable for temporary work.

In order to apply for a work visa, you must submit a standard package of documents to the Polish consulate or visa center:

  1. Internal passport of the country (original and photocopies of all pages). A copy of the passport is handed over, and the original remains with the applicant.
  2. Foreign passport (original and copies of all pages, including pages with previous visas). Its validity period must end no earlier than 180 days from the date of entry. It should also have two free pages. In addition, it is necessary to provide data on previous passports, if any - this can be either a mark in the passport or a certificate from the OVIR.
  3. A health insurance policy that must meet certain requirements:
  • operate in all EU countries or Schengen countries;
  • have a deductible from 100 to 150 euros;
  • all personal data must be correctly written in it: passport number, full name, address and others;
  • its validity must be 15 days longer than the validity of the visa.
  1. Correctly completed visa application form, which is a questionnaire and at the same time is an application for a visa. You can fill it out online. However, this should be done very carefully, since any mistake is a reason for refusing a visa.
  2. Job invitation sent by the employer. According to the requirements that came into force in 2021, in addition to the invitation, a certificate of its entry into the state register is also required.
  3. A receipt confirming the payment of the consular fee.
