For those who are thirsty for adventure and who are sick of the cold and rainy Moscow in October, we offer an interesting route along the sunny Mediterranean. Cyprus-Greece-Hungary is not a trip for those who like to constantly lie on sun loungers, drinking cocktails. You have to arm yourself with a “bag for impressions”, in our case - hand luggage, in order to save on the cost of tickets.

The journey begins in Moscow on October 11 at Vnukovo airport. The cost of a flight to Larnaca with Pobeda Airlines will be only 2499 rubles if you buy tickets in advance.

Departure in the morning at 09:45 and after 3 hours 45 minutes the plane lands at Larnaca airport. Here we will spend three days enjoying the still warm sea and the mild autumn sun. A budget double room on booking.com can be rented for two nights for 3900 rubles.

To continue your journey, you need to get to Paphos by bus.

Departure at 7:40. Travel time 1:20. Tickets cost 7 euros (about 524 rubles).

Within six hours in Paphos, you can visit the Tomb of the Kings or the house of Dionysus.

The next transport will be a Ryanair plane to the Greek city of Thessaloniki. The airfare will cost 33 euros (about 1873 rubles). You can take a somewhat cheap morning flight, but to get on it you will need to arrive in Paphos the night before and look for an overnight stay.

We set aside three days for sightseeing in Thessaloniki. The cost of a double room will be 5360 rubles for three nights.

Here you can visit the Acropolis, Aristrati Cave, the Fortress Wall and many more interesting places or go to the water park.

Then we go to the capital of Greece - Athens. The Ryanair flight will cost 15 euros (about 1124 rubles).

Athens is a place of concentration of a large number of monuments of past eras. In four allotted days you will visit the main sights of the city:

  • The Acropolis of Athens;
  • Parthenon;
  • Dionysus Theater;
  • Temple of Hephaestus;
  • Temple of Olympian Zeus;
  • Agora.

You will have to pay 4660 rubles for living in Athens.

Now from Athens we leave for Budapest. We will be delivered to the capital of Hungary by a Wizzair airline for only 25 euros (about 1873 rubles), but if you are a member of the Wizz Discount Club program, the flight will cost only 15 euros (about 1124 rubles).
