Egyptian authorities have lifted the ban on tourist boats, as well as taxi boats. This was reported by "Interfax-Tourism", referring to the information of the newspaper Al-Ahram.
Recall that this type of activity has been banned since April 12, which contributed to a decrease in the spread of coronavirus infection in Egypt. As of April 28, 5042 cases of infection were recorded in the country.

The resumption of transportation, after a two-week break due to the coronavirus pandemic, is possible only if all security measures are taken to prevent the spread of the virus. Compliance with the procedure for disinfection of vehicles.

It was especially noted that in case of violations of measures to counter the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, carriers will be deprived of their licenses. In particular, such measures can be taken in cases of simultaneous servicing of a large number of people, or transferring passengers on the high seas from one boat to another.
Diving, windsurfing, submarine riding and similar activities are still banned.
