Restrictions were imposed on flights. Air carriers are unhappy. According to the Russian political daily Kommersant, the Association of Air Transport Operators is urging Rospotrebnadzor to cancel their recommendation to fill only half of the aircraft cabin.
Restrictive measures were introduced in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection around the world. The airline believes that this recommendation is not needed, it only gets in the way. They remind that at the airport the temperature of tourists is compulsorily measured. In addition, fans and air conditioners are installed in the aircraft cabins. The air is refreshed every few minutes.
Air carriers are confident that due to the presence of such strict restrictive measures, tickets will begin to cost significantly more. This will reduce the number of local and regional flights.

Yevgeny Dietrich, who holds the post of head of the Ministry of Transport, agreed that these restrictive measures would be better canceled. However, according to the Kommersant newspaper, the final decision will still be made by Rospotrebnadzor.
In order for the airlines to be listened to, their recommendations must be confirmed by the chief sanitary doctor. Only in this case will they be fulfilled.
Air carriers are reported to agree to reduce the number of people on board if they are reimbursed for the profits they could have earned from these empty seats.
What Utair offers
Pavel Permyakov, who is the president of Utair, made a proposal to keep the limitation on the number of passengers on Moscow flights only. For regional flights, they are not needed, since the planes are already small.
