To travel abroad, a Russian must issue a passport that will prove his identity outside the territory of the Russian Federation. There are two types of document: new and old. The old one is easier to issue, but it is issued for a shorter period.

What documents will be required to provide

To get a certificate, you need to prepare:

• Application in duplicate;
• The original and a copy of the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation;
• 2 pairs of color photos. Format: 35 x 45 mm with an oval;
• Check for payment of duty in size 1500 rbl... at the time of 2019 - 2020;
• A valid international passport;
• Men must add a military ID if it is on hand. Applies to persons of draft age;
• Soldiers are required to provide permission from the military unit.

The procedure for registration is established by order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of 2017 No.

Instructions for filling

In the course of filling out, you must answer 15 questions. You need to specify:

1. Full name in the nominative case;
2. Floor. Marked with a cross;
3. Date of birth;
4. Place of Birth. Recorded in strict accordance with the passport of the Russian Federation;
5. Information about the previous surname, name or patronymic. Indicate the former name, date and place of the change;
6. Registration and registration date;
7. Address of stay or actual place of residence;
8. Phone number;
9. Email;
10. Passport data;
11. Was the fact of admission of the applicant to information of special importance or state secrets. If there was, then indicate the organization that admitted to the classified information, and the year of admission;
12. Are there any contractual obligations that prevent you from leaving Russia? Name the organization with which the contract was concluded and the year of signing the contract;
13. The presence of another passport and its details;
14. Information about labor, educational and military activities for the previous 10 years:

• Dates are recorded to the nearest month;
• If there are periods of unemployment between occupations, indicate them as well. In the right column, in this case, you must indicate the place of permanent registration at that time;
• If there are not enough lines, you need to use the Appendix to the questionnaire No. 2a.

Next, indicate the number of sheets in Appendix No. 2b, containing information about the applicant's children under 14 years old... In the Application itself, the names of the children, gender and dates of birth are reported.

Possible mistakes

Incorrect filling will lead to refusal to issue the document. It is important to exclude:

• Bug fixes;
• Grammatical errors;
• Lie.

You should be especially careful when filling out 10-14 points.

To get an old-style international passport, you need to correctly draw up an application and attach all the necessary documents. After issuing an identity card, a citizen can travel abroad for 5 years.
