Poland is one of the most popular countries for tourists from Russia. Recently, however, travelers began to fear visiting this state because of the tensions between the leaderships of the powers and because of the situation in Ukraine. Judging by the reviews of experienced travelers, Poland is a hospitable country and the attitude towards tourists is cordial, including guests from Russia. However, a lot depends on the person himself. If you do not follow the rules of conduct in the state, then the attitude of local residents will be appropriate. It is recommended to give way to women and the elderly on public transport. If this is not done, then a scandal will arise.
Smoking and alcohol
Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited in public places. The only exceptions are specialized establishments and dedicated areas. This rule is enshrined at the legislative level and its violation leads to problems with representatives of the law and order.
Drunk driving
As in any other state, drunk driving is punished here. However, it should be noted that in this country, after drinking alcohol, you cannot even sit behind the wheel of a bicycle. It also threatens with penalties.
