Elmas airport
The island's largest air port is the international airport of Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia. It is officially called Elmas, although the locals call him Mario Mameli.
If they fly to Olbia in order to immediately be at the fashionable resorts, then those who want to see the capital, visit the south of the island and its attractions fly to Cagliari.
The air gates of the capital have existed for more than 80 years, have been reconstructed many times, but there is only one terminal operating here, which is quite enough to receive 4.5 million passengers a year. True, this terminal has 3 levels: there is a panoramic restaurant, shops, Wi-Fi.
Elmas is located 7 km from the city, where buses, taxis and trains run. One bus station is in the arrivals area (open from 8.00 to 23.00), the other - not far from the departure area (open from 5.20 to 22.00).
- The fare for the ARST Spa bus is 1.1 euros. Travel time is 9 minutes.
- A taxi will cost about 25 euros, payment is by the meter, 10% is left for tea.

Fertilia airport
Alghero Fertilia Airport serves the northern part of Sardinia. Its old name is Riviera del Corallo, but everyone calls it Fertilia, after the name of the nearby village.

But with the development of tourism in this region, the airfield has turned into an airport used by tourists who want to see Sardinia in its original form, without the superficial gloss. The Arbatax platform is used mainly for regional flights on local private planes, air taxis, and the passenger traffic is about 50 thousand people a year.
Arbatax is the only airfield in the center and east of this Italian province.
