In Turkey, they are not happy with the fact that tourists spend all their time on the territory of their hotels, and rarely go beyond them in order to buy souvenirs or a sightseeing tour.

The discontent of traders and artisans was voiced by the head of the country's trade confederation, Bendavid Palandoken, in an interview with the DHA news agency. In addition, Mr. Palandoken said that Turkish hoteliers should abandon the all inclusive tourist service system.

What is offered

This decision, according to the head of the confederation, will stimulate the development of the business of local artisans, as well as significantly revitalize trade. Everyone will benefit, both small sellers and the country's budget. Mr. Palandoken is sure that the abandonment of this system will be beneficial for the tourists themselves, whose rest will become more eventful, and there will be much more pleasant memories of him.

Reference. The publication "DHA" cites official statistics, according to which the average foreign tourist spends about 570 US dollars during his vacation.

According to the head of the confederation, if the tourist were left 50-100 dollars more, traders and artisans would not oppose the cancellation of the All Inclusive system.

In turn, Russian experts on the Turkish tourism market are confident that the calls of local artisans and traders, as well as officials, will not force them to abandon all inclusive.

Is Turkey interesting without all inclusive?

Yuri Barzykin, acting vice-president of the Russian travel industry union, says that the system is convenient for vacationers, because, in addition to free food and alcohol, they can get everything they need for their entertainment on the territory of their hotel. If hoteliers refuse to receive their guests within the framework of this system, then tourists simply will not go to Turkey, but will choose another country where they will be able to rest on the “all inclusive” basis.

Barzykin recalled how several years ago in Greece one of the officials called for abandoning this system, but nothing came of it. The expert also noted that Russians are among the top three foreign tourists who visit the sights of Turkey more often than others. So, Russians don't just eat and drink.

The general director of the travel service Travelata.ru Alexey Zaretsky noted that Russians buy about 95 percent of tours to Turkey with the all inclusive system, which includes unlimited and free food and alcohol. According to the expert, this fact is one of the main reasons why Russians are so willing to rest in Turkish resorts.

The head of the TripCafe travel agency Margarita Pshinnik admitted that when she personally rests at the resort with her child, she tries not to go shopping, not think about shopping and what to cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner today. The expert considers Turkey to be his favorite country for rest, because only here she can get a real rest, enjoy excellent service, delicious food and affordable pricing policy.

The General Director of Photobank Lori Irina Terentyeva is confident that Turkey is an excellent country for recreation, rich in its architectural, historical and cultural attractions. According to the expert, the all inclusive system fully justifies itself, but only if you buy the most expensive tour, within which you can not only eat for free, but also visit the most interesting excursions.
