Obtaining citizenship

As soon as a positive decision is received, the newly-made Russian needs to change the documents. To begin with, issue a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation - it is he who finally certifies the fact of granting citizenship.

This is done at the UVM at the place of residence, providing:

  • A valid foreign passport;
  • Residence permit;
  • A copy of the birth certificate;
  • Check for payment of duty (300 rubles);
  • 2 photos.

A passport is issued within ten days. In addition, you will need to issue a residence permit, update SNILS, TIN, OMS, driver's license.

What to do in case of refusal

The first step is to request a written response, which will set out the reasons for the refusal. If the applicant considers the decision made to be unlawful, he can appeal against it in court. To draw up a statement of claim, it is better to use the services of a migration lawyer.

The most common reason for a negative resolution is the provision of false information and false documents.

The integration procedure will be successful if you scrupulously approach the fulfillment of the requirements: in advance, clarify the list of mandatory papers, facts of personal and family biography. The main thing is to provide the most complete and honest information, not to try to mislead the receiving employee.
