Most of German roads are free, only ecological zones are paid. To travel through them, you need to buy a vignette at any gas station, post office or special kiosk at the border (they work around the clock).

If you rent a car, you don't have to buy a sticker, the rental service takes care of this. You will also need to pay 11-12 euros for the section of the journey from the border to Prague itself.

Own or rented car

If you are planning to hit the road in your own car, then your main financial costs will be gasoline. You will need 41 liters of fuel, which costs 55-80 euros. You will not spend very much time on the way, so you will hardly need stops for rest and refueling.

By plane

Flight by plane is the fastest and most convenient way - (1-1.5 hours). The only negative is the high cost of the flight (from 74 euros) and the inconvenient transfer from the airport in Prague.

In Frankfurt, the airport can be reached by metro S8, S9 or the regional train RE 4266, which departs from the main train station.

Upon arrival in Prague at the Terminál 1 stop, wait for bus number 119 and get to the Nádraží Veleslavín stop.

Then change to line A of the Czech metro and get off at the terminal station Staroměstská.
