On April 22, Montenegro announced a gradual relaxation of quarantine measures. Thus, the Prime Minister of the Balkan country, Dusko Markovic, had a meeting with representatives of the tourism industry, at which he announced the phased opening of service facilities and tourist accommodation from mid-May.

Since Wednesday, some of the restrictive measures are being lifted. In particular, the curfew has been reduced to night time, parks are open to the public. Sports are allowed on an individual basis. On May 4, it is planned to resume the work of small and medium-sized businesses.

Today in Montenegro, the issue of a ban on movement between regions has not been resolved, and the government is still silent about the opening of borders. However, based on the above-mentioned relaxation of the quarantine regime, permission to travel to the country can be expected from June. For the country itself, tourism is a priority. Therefore, completely abandoning the season and leaving the budget without the lion's share of financial injections is not economically profitable. In addition, the Montenegrin authorities did not raise the issue of a mandatory coronavirus test among vacationers.

Tourists from Russia will have the opportunity to relax on the Adriatic coast if the ban on flights to Russia and Montenegro is lifted at the beginning of summer. Moreover, "Pobeda" includes flights to Tivat for June.

A representative of the PAX tour operator mentioned in an interview with TourDom.ru that clients are in no hurry to cancel or reschedule their booking from June to other dates.
Today the question is when the restrictive measures on flights abroad will be lifted in Russia itself. Indeed, major airlines have canceled international flights. In Aeroflot, the ban is valid until August. Another major airline, S7, has resumed flights only to Armenia. And finally, it is worth mentioning the scandal with the export of Russian tourists from Montenegro before the start of quarantine in March. Then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation accused the authorities of the host country of a mocking attitude towards vacationers. How this situation will affect the future flow of tourists is not known.
