Finland has refused to renew expiring Schengen visas free of charge during the period of self-isolation.
The Finnish Delegation in St. Petersburg announced that Russians who planned to visit the country and received a Schengen visa before the restrictions imposed in the country in connection with the coronavirus were introduced, would not be able to renew it for free.
The Consulate General referred to the rules in force under the Schengen Visa Code and recommended that everyone should apply for a new visa.
